the Soul of Nature and the entire Cosmos"
- Rudolf

What is Colour Therapy?
Have you ever wondered why you can be cheered up or depressed by the
introduction of certain colours in your environment or your body?
Colour is an integral part of our lives, and can be a powerful source of
healing. Colours affect us psychologically, emotionally and physically. Colours
have an impact on our behaviour, mood, and health.
Through the use of
colour, we are able to balance and harmonise the mind, body
and spirit. As
the colours balance and harmonize us, we will feel less stressed,
stronger and healthier and far more able to cope as we move through
challenging life transitions.
In our
Colour Therapy workshop, you will be guided to create artwork using
watercolour and oil pastels that expresses your feelings and emotions.
Creative expression through artwork can transform painful reactions and
situations, providing strength and understanding to change you feel and
interact with the world. Creating artwork offers one a respite from
illness, stress, and discomfort and helps one to care for the human
spirit as well.
How
does Colour Therapy Work?
Scientific
research has discovered that creating art can make one feel better.
Through the result of the artwork, the facilitator will be able to
identify hurt, anger or traumatic imprints in a person’s feelings and
emotions and guide the person holistically to take steps to heal them.
Use your
paintings as a mirror to recover and transform lost and “frozen” aspects
of your soul. Expressing your feelings and emotions through guided
watercolour painting work as powerful mirrors of your soul. This can
lead to a deepened sense of self-awareness and opportunities for
self-transformation. These exercises enhance your faculties of
observation through feelings and bring you once again into the present
moment. In addition to creating artwork, you will also be guided to use
sounds, gestures and movements for healing.
